 Down 80 pounds!  Yeah!  It's getting a lot easier and becoming more normal for me.  I was originally on 10 medicines and insulin...now i'm only on 2 of my original medicines plus Protonix and Coumadin.  Not a bad trade!  I am not having to take 3 shorts daily....it's more like a shot every 3 days.  I'm careful still to monitor my blood sugar.  I still have no regrets from having surgery...only that I should have done it long ago.  

My self esteem seems to be getting better...I visit more often with family and friends and I enjoy getting compliments!  I'm enjoying buying new clothes and accessories and looking like somebody for a change!

I still say...research, research...know what you're getting into, but if you are as unhealthy as I was 4 months ago...don't wait to long to have your surgery.  It's been a blessing for me...a live saver and a life changer!
