Thursday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. It's almost that time! I bet you are dancin in circles- I know I was. Whatever you do, don't let my experience with the bitchy nurse scare you- there is a more personal reason behind her hating me that I didn't want to post on the board but will tell you if you ask :o) Also, despite the 7 day stay they told you that you MUST do, you might be able to go home a day or two early- I did. Dr. Weiner and his immediate staff tend to be more easier on that with their "American children" as he calls us. Please take advantage of all the walking you can, it really does help with any gas pains you might have, and when your tubes are removed I encourage you to walk outside and across the street to the big bridge on the Main River- I was only out for 20 minutes but it was refreshing!
