My surgeon's office called yesterday to confirm my pre-ops. I now find it has been easier for me to be everyone else's cheerleader than my own.  I am not accustomed to this mixture of emotions.  I like things controlled, researched,  predictable, and orderly.  The unknown I don't like.  So, I am relying on the wisdom and experience of those who are already progressing through this journey.  Thank goodness for OH.

I will have RNY on November 17th.  My 8 month journey has just been condensed into a 1 month journey.  Thank you God, Dr. Sherman, his staff, and Aetna for making this possible.

Praise the Lord.  My surgeon's office just called, and I have been approved.  I am so thankful.

Tomorrow will be the beginning of week 2.  I would not be so concerned if only I had scheduled my yearly exam, and then I would have everything I needed in the way of documentation.  I am praying for favor and sincerely celebrating everyone's weight loss successes.

WAITING... I received a call from my surgeon's office, and my file is officially sent.  Now the definite 4 - 5 week wait.  Prayerfully, they will approve more quickly and on the 1st time.  But the wait has been already beneficial as I have met  great people on this site.

I have a case number. Yea!  My surgeon's staff has been incredible, and I am very grateful to them for all their assistance.
