My brother is currently on America's Got Talent and he is the The Texas Tenor's this has been so exciting! They will be in the finals on 9/14!

Two Years Later

I am currently recovering from surgery a 3rd time.  I had my lap band removed in June 2009 due to two slips. I have now had gastric bypass and am losing already. I had surgery last Monday the 24th and am still recovering will write more later.

I haven't been on much lately. I had surgery July 18th! I am recovering and doing well! I have lost a total of 42 lbs since started the whole surgery process almost a year ago now.

I went to my appointment last Thursday. Tomorrow I have my preop. I am anxious to get the date scheduled.

My Story

I am not good with talking about myself! I am going to try! I will start with ~Honesty~ I really am not honest with myself very often. I have been reading and researching and realizing ~ I have issues~ is getting the lap band going to help this? No, certainly not. Do I need to do this for my health? Absolutely! Will I make the necessary life style changes? I will! Am I scared to death? Yeah. I am. If I don't do this and make the changes, I will die. I won't be here to see my grandson grow up. I won't be here for my kids. I won't see my future grandkids. I won't be here for my brother.
