Surgeon Testimonial

Brian S. Boe, M.D.
I met with Dr. Boe almost 3 years ago and he was a sweetheart then, and he's still wonderful now. I met with him in May and am very happy with him. His office staff have been great to work with. Even though my mom and I already knew everything about the surgery from our last visit, he still showed my grandma what happens. The Barix Center has a great after program. Dr. Boe has done over 1200 surgeries so I feel confident enough to recommend him to anyone. So far I'd rate him a 10, but I always rate high.

Too Long
on February 5, 2009 6:00 am
Wow, it's been so long since I've written. Since the last time, almost two years ago, I have had another child, Kaitlyn Elizabeth who is now 8 months old. She joins Charlie, 11 1/2 and Nickolas 2 years old and a step-daughter, Jennifer, 24 years old. I just had my hernia surgery 2 weeks ago and I ache really bad. The Dr had to put an 8x10 piece of mesh in my abdomen, but I finally don't stick out and feel like I'm still pregnant. I have gained from 212lbs (right after Nickolas was born) to 268lbs (I've actually lost 6lbs since my hernia surgery). I haven't been using my tool like I should. I'm very ashamed of myself, I learned how to eat sugar and I drink when I eat. I've also been in a post partum depression for almost 2 years, which doesn't help and of course when I'm depressed, I eat. Well a friend of mine is having surgery on Feb 11th so I'm hoping we can support each other and now that I don't have this thing sticking out of me, I think I should be able to get my butt moving and lose more. We also got a Wii and a Wii fit so I'll be able to exercise here in my home!!! I just have to wait until I feel better and can actually move. I hope to write more in about a month with some good news! Thanks for reading!!
Debbie
