I SAW DR BARKER THURSDAY 8/16 FOR MY 1ST VISIT AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THE WAITING ROOM WAS VERY CROWDED, WHICH IS A GOOD SIGN THAT HE'S A GR-8 DR. rnALL THE STAFF MEMBERS WERE ALL FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAD ORIGINALLY CHOSEN ANOTHER DR TO DO MY SURGERY AND I WASN'T IMPRESSED WITH HIM AT ALL SO I DECIDED TO CHANGE DR'S AND THEN I MET DR WADE BARKER AND I KNEW THAT I HAD CHOSE THE RIGHT DR. I SAW SEVERAL DIFFERENT PEOPLE IN HIS OFFICE SETTING UP APPTS FOR TESTS THAT I HAVE TO GO THROUGH AND INSURANCE AND I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THEM ALL.

UPDATE ~9 MONTHS POST OP

I had to have a complete hysterectomy 8/14 and still don't have an appetite. I've lost 11 lbs in 6 days but I'm trying my best to keep up with my water and protein since my hysterectomy. I've always taken my vitamins with no problems. I can't believe that I have lost 178 lbs in 9 months, only 67 lbs from my personal goal of 150. My BMI was 72.2 before surgery and it's 39.7 today. I thank GOD everyday for these blessings.
