I had lost over 100 pounds on my owen then I notice after a while I started to gain it back a little at a time , I got so mad , I decided
RNY my aunt went to Dr Slotman he was great , right to the point, My first app with Dr S. 2/10 then I went to all the doctors I needed to go to. got all the Dr app done by 4/1 , faxed all my papers to the Dr S on the 4/5 Mon and they faxed everything to my Inc on 4/7 my Inc approved on 4/13 surgey is plan for 5/10 , I still have a pre op meeting to go to on 4/26 and Then Dr S 4/27 Finaly Pat at the Hospital on 5/3 , It didn't take long , I choose Dr S. because he does open RNY and I feel comfortable with the old way of surgey ,
The office staff is great , Karen , & Dawn are wonderful !! Thank you Girl ! I will tell everyone about Dr. Slotman. it was painless !

I've been thur alot !!! I've lost alot of things , just not weight ,Grrrr  After all the surgeries I had after , I'm tired of trying to change myself < I almost died for what < my Husband Loves me , My son Loves me and , my GOD loves me . I just now learned to love myself , I guess you must almost die , to learn to live :) I want to find out whats wrong , but I'm not sure , I'll fix it , if I need surgery !!!! Life is short enough without me making it shorter !!! taking one day at a time !!! Maybe I should have gotten the Lap band < I can think about what IF now !  Truly Dee

Long Time Girls !!!

I started my Childcare again , so it's been crazy , I work 85hrs a week !!  after my surgery i lost some then had another for my bowels and stop losing ????  I realy didn't care ! God showed me that my out is nothing with him in my inside ! ( i found that out the hard way !!!! ) I started losing again , the way I should have in the beging , it just don't really matter as much anymore !! I just Thank Gos that I'm alive & spending time with my loved one more !!!  I must make my 1yrs appointment , I've just stayed clear of Dr all together !!  hope u all are doing good ! Debora

I Think I have a hernia !!!  well more like a incisional hernia , I scared to have surgey again have any of u had one and what did ur Dr. do to fix it ???   Ty Debora

Long Time Girls !!

I'm still alive Girls ! I'm just not feeling like myself , I'm 6m out today ! I tought I'd weigh less by know but I'm still 215 , I haven't changed  must , I have started going to the Gym (4days)  started  working again ,  I really havn't been on OH too much , It's hard to hear and see every body less doing good . it makes me sad that Im in this rut , , Hope u guys are good !!

Frustrated , What am I doing wrong ??

I got down down to 215 and today 5m out I'm 517 WT heck ?  I'm lost with out words !!
My body has a mind of it's owen , going to pull my hair out !! cann't work out ,
but I'm going to start anyway !! I don't care !!  count my cal , I don't know I need a vaction from my RNY !!

My Story

 

I gave birth to my daughter 7/27/1990 naturaly , then on8/14/1990 I has in a car crash , had 7 ab surgerys , coma 3 months , died three time dur surgery , broken neck ( ware a halo ), and then 3m after bowel obr , then 10y later had my son naturaly , went for  a tubal , cut, burn ( no more kids ) and when The Dr. went in nicked my bowel, a 30min surgery turned into 5hr long surgery the other Dr came in and clean alot of the scare tissue , Thank GOD i'm here and it's not to die from being Fat ! 

 I had my RNY on 5/10/10 and then came home on 5/13/10 ended up back in the hospital on 5/19/10 , for surgery on my bowel blockeage I spent alot of days in there , I went home on 6/14/10 , I had a  nurses coming to my home three days a week to change my wound vac on my belly , this hole in my belly started as big as 11 in by 11in , now it's around 11/2  in by 6 in , and when ever I walk I had a tube that hangs from me and a should pack to carry ! My husband  says I didn't walk enough ! 
  
Now I'm 31/2 months out down 48lbs as of 8/23/10 and im seeing the changes , I walk more , do for myself more, Drive when needed and fit in my old size 16's , NO MORE WOUND VAC !!  no more nurse , and i see the scale going down slowy , and no loose tummy skin !! (so far ) , Im not working out yet (waiting on Dr's) Thanking God for his Grace !!
