New Year and New me. I am vowing to go to support groups. I am currently at 272 pounds. I need to lose about another 100 pounds to be at my goal. Therefore I am going back at least two protein shakes a day and plenty of water. I also vow to workout 5 times a week. I have came so fa to give up now.

Happy New Year 2013

Well it has been officially 17 months since my surgery and I have stalled for 5 months. I need to loose another 80 pounds. I am trying to get back on track. It has been a interesting journey. I am so excited about my new life that this surgery has gave me. Thanks to all my OH friends for the encouragement. I am down 127 pounds and I feel really good. But I got to stay at it.

Three more days

Well I am ony have three more days till surgery. Feras,anxieties,doubts are starting to set in. I know that God will take care of me. I just have to trust him. Church tommorow and I will definately be there. I went to Dollywood splash country with my kids today and I was tired going up several steps. I know next year it will be better. I wanna be more active with my kids. I know I am making the right choice.

Surgery is scheduled for August 30th. I am so excited ! I can't beleive that it is finally going to happen for e. Thank you Jesus!

My Story

I have been overweight since the 6th grade. I ave tried several diets just to add the weight back on. I recently have been told that have acid reflux and severe sleep apea. I ove to shop and dress nice. But can only being able to go to to one store sucks.I have been waiting to have suregery for years now. I never had the insurance neither coud  I afford it. I am a 32 year single mother of three kids that keep me busy. I started this process again March 2010. I was frustrated having to do the 6 months over again. But I am patiently waiting now. God is good and I understand that it is in his timing not mine. I ready to be on the loosers bench!
