Went to my first visit with Dr. Crooms today.  He is very nice and his staff could not have been any nicer.  Really sweet girls in that office!   He said I am a good candidate for this surgery and they will be making my appointments to see the dietician and the counselor.  They said the approval process should take about 8 weeks.  I am so excited.   I am at my all time high (208.6).  I hope to be down to 130 by this time next year if I can get the surgery by January 08.   

My sister has made the comment that my problems are much more noticable than hers (referring to the 100 pounds I need to loose!)  I've never tried to hide my problems so that part of it really doesn't bother me.  What bothers me is being completely uncomfortable all of the time. 

I am most looking forward to not hurting in my joints.  My wrists, knees, bottoms of my feet and legs throb most of the time.  That is really what I look most forward to!

I am so ready for my appt. with dr. crooms on the 18th.  My legs are throbbing and my back has been killing me this week.  I know I have gained another five pounds.  I am so ready to get this surgery.  After reading all the post and researching the lap band since last December, I am completely sure that I am ready for this and that I will be a good candidate for the surgery.  I am sooooo ready to be more comfortable and not have pain from all this weight.
