Hello,

I just want to give you a small update.  I have lost a total of  84 lbs.  My weight as of today is 116.  I am so happy and proud of myself because it has not been an easy journey but I have made it.  Now, I just have to keep it up.  I will be posting new pictures hopefully this week.

Have not post for a while

Hello,

I have not post for a while, but I am back.  I have to let you know that my kidney stone finally decided to get out of my body.  I feel so much better now.  I have been doing ok with since the surgery, I have had a little bit of trouble getting use to, to the foods that now my pouch accept and does not accept.  I am happy to report that since the day of surgery April 1st I have lost 30 pounds.  I have to confess that I have been having a lot of anxiety because sometimes my mind wants certains food but I know my body can not handle them.  If you guys have any ideas on lunch recepies I will love to see them.  I am so tired of cottage cheese and yougurt.  I am eating more of the regular foods but somedays it is so difficult to figure out what to eat.

kidney stone
on April 11, 2010 12:34 pm
Okay,

On 4/10/10 I woke up with a left lower quadrant pain that started getting worst by the minute.... By 11 o'clock in the morning I was vomiting  every time the pain got worst.  Finally I got to the hospital where they gave me medicine which it took the sharp pain out but not the whole pain.  They did a CT to make sure that it was nothing to do with the WLS and everything is good in that department.  They came to the conclusion that it was Kidney stones.  I am still in the hospital in pain and the stone does not want to come out.... If I am still in pain by tomorrow they will be putting a stent to strech the area and help the stone to get out.  Well that is my adventure for the moment....

Hello,

So today is day 5 since surgery... I have had a good couple of days were I was able to get all my fluids and protein. Today,  in the other hand was a bad day.  I got up and I was not feeling good at all..  I was weak and tired, i tried to take in  my proteins and I was not able.  My mommy did make me a nice chicken soup without the pasta and when it was done we put it in the blender and it was delicious..  I am going to have another litter bit. now...

back from the hospital
on April 4, 2010 2:50 am
hello,

Okay,  I am back from the hospital since late afternoon on 4/3/10.  Surgery went well.  My doctor and his team are great.  I had a longer stay in the recovery room, because I was dehydrated and my body was taken all the IV in but it was not letting it out through my pee.... So, they could not release me to the floor until my body was working okay.... Now, here am I in my living room drinking my protein shake and chatting with you all.... I have not check my weight and I think I will not do it until I go and see my doctor on the 14.  I am going to have my mom take body measurments tonight.

On 4/1/10 I arrive to the hospital at 5:30am check in with admitting and then to the surgery area we went.... I was fine until the anestesiologist came to see me, that was my breaking point.  After that I started shaking and being all nervous.  My husband was with me and he was so good on giving me support... Also, everyone in the team was great and understanding.... I am glad I went through this.... Well enough for now....
