I am 48 years old.....soon to be 49  on New Year's Day and here I sit at this computer wondering how I let myself get here.....only knowing that I want my life back that I let everyone else take control of. I am starting a journey of not only weight loss but Of reinventing myself as a person.  I spent most of my life taking care of everyone else in my life and neglecting ME although I was always very self sufficient. Unfortunately,  in doing so I learned that the one person that you can trust is yourself and the one person you need to take care of first is Yourself.  
This is the "tool " that I need to be successful.   I know I could do it with the VSG.  I see it ...I pray for it and I will live it ......soon!  I want to feel that smile once again that used to sit across my face.......and hear that uncontrollable laugh that used to bellow from my mouth. I can't wait for January 1, 2012. I will be 50 years old and have a totally new life ahead of me!!    I'm excited!!!
