My Story

I had lapband on December 6th, 2007.  Surgery went well, and recovery was easy.  It is three weeks out and I have lost 11.5 pounds.

I am 59 with 5 grandchildren.  I have had MS for 20 years, and have been in a wheelchair for the last five. Through years of steroid treatments and not being able to exercise,  the weight has packed on.  Lapband is my chance to live healthier and make it easier on me and my family to deal with my MS and the complications that go along with it.  

I am excited and raring to go!
