Well, I am almost there - I can't believe it is all behind me now. I am enjoying shopping for new clothes. I feel amazing! 10 more pounds to goal!

4 Months Out.......Time Flies When You Are Having Fun!

I am a little over 4 months out and 78 lbs down!!! WOOO HOOO! I finally feel free!! This has been such an amazing journey! I went shopping and bought a size 10 jean from the GAP - I've never gone in there to shop before!!! I took a spin class at our local community center it was an hour long and I was able to endure!! I couldn't believe it - I felt so strong!!! The weight is slowing down as I get closer to my goal but I am trying to keep positive.

I am worried about long term. I've heard some horror stories about people gaining weight back....My husband had the procedure about 2 months ago and he is doing wonderfully! Hopefully, we can learn good habits now and maintain for the future!!!

Three months post-op!!

WOW, I can't believe three months have gone by so quickly! I have lost a little over 60 pounds and FEEL GREAT!!! This is the best decision I've made in my life. I feel like I am finally the person that existed on the inside for so many years.....

04/17/07: Well here it is..finally - I have jumped through all hoops and Dr has submitted case to my insurance - they say I should know in a few days! Wish me luck!!
