Surgeon Testimonial

Gregg Jossart, M.D.
Had my first consultation about WLS options. I found Dr Jossart to be compassionate and a good sense of humor. He put me at ease. Staff was friendly and laid back. I felt comfortable there.
Update 8/10/08. I love this Doctor. He is a very skilled surgeon which I think is the reason I healed so quickly and Have had very little post op problems. I am 3 months out now and feeling great. I am just about halfway to my weight loss goal. I would have never been able to get this far without Dr Jossart and his wonderful staff. They are all great!

5 weeks out
on June 15, 2008 10:12 pm
Hi everyone. I am just about 5 weeks out monday the 16th of June.

I have been eating some solid foods and chewing verrry well the past week... along with my softer foods..

I am finding some things very hard to tolerate and they make me  I can't have chicken ... especially if it is kind of dry.. no way !! makes me soooo sick.. Was throwing up for about an hour and a half and thinking.. OK. I did NOT even eat this much.. why and how and I puking this much! then realized how much foamie stuff and just liquid was mixed in..

I also got very sick on a piece of Grilled Salmon tonight when we went out to dinner for my daughters 5th birthday and Fathers day.. It was also wayyyy to dry but I ate a small portion of it and gave the rest to my husband to eat. 10 minutes later I had a runny nose, pain in my pouch like it was all stuck.. then had to vomit.. ugh!! At least this time I only did it twice and was feeling better quickly. I think I kept most of it down.

THe two things I was told I might not be able to tolerate well untill a few months later is beef and eggs.. funny thing is.. I am doing great with very lean beef that is cooked medium so it is juicy.. and eggs sunny side up are wonderful. I was even able to eat a turkey saucage patty this morning! yummm.
