Hi my name is doris I am 44 years old I have been over weight every since high school but thought I was fat. before then.  My weight started when i had a t.b test done and it came back positive.  when the doctors put me on some medicine that made me gain weight . Everry sense it been hard to lose weight.  I have tried all kinds of diets put had no sucess.   So when my pcp told me about the  wls .  I thought that is the coward way out and i was going to to try to do it myself .    I learned that its okay to get help when see you can't do it yourself.   Then I decide to try the lap band but I read about it and you don't lose weight as fast .  i don't know if that is the right reason to change  my mind .  have my surgery on the 23rd of april  I am alittle scared and excited.
