Yves Manigat, M.D.
Meeting with Dr. Manigat for the first time as a group and then individually was a great experience. While in the group session he was very knowledgeable about the different procedures that he performed. Yes he emphasizes the aftercare program very much. He just explains everything in detail and is very much confident in what he tells you. After sitting with him on a one-on-one session he changed my mind convincing me to have RNY instead of Lap-Band thats how much he impressed me. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that his office staff kind of made s do all of the work as far as calling the insurance company and all of that. I didn't feel that was something we should be doing. Overall I would recommend Dr. Manigat to anyone. I hope to have my surgery 12/26/2007.

    Thank you for that unfortunately my date has been changed again. I haven't updated my date yet because I haven't gotten my date. But again thank you.

17 DAYS LEFT..........................

WELL TODAY I WENT FOR WHAT I THOUGHT WAS ALL OF MY PRE-ADMISSION TESTING BLOOD WORK, EKG, CHEST X-RAY AND WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GO BACK IN TWO WEEKS TO GET ANOTHER BLOOD TEST DONE. BEING AS THOUGH THE HOSPITAL SCHEDULED MY PAT'S 17 DAYS BEFORE MY SURGERY I HAVE TO GO BACK ON 5/19/08 TO GET BY TYPE AND SCREEN DONE. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH GOING BACK BUT THE ONLY THING IS THAT EVERYTIME SOMETHING CHANGES I HAVE TO CHANGE MY TIME FOR WORK. THANK GOD THAT MY MANAGER IS UNDERSTANDING OF THE THINGS THAT COME UP. BUT THAT WAS THE LAST THING I HAVE TO DO I HOPE BESIDES GO TO THE PULMONARY DR. ONE MORE TIME ON 5/15/08 TO SEE HOW I AM DOING WITH MY CPAP MACHINE. JUST THINK IN A LITTLE OVER OVER TWO WEEKS I WILL BE ON THE LOSERS SIDE. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
