My Story

I began my weight issues early in life, always heavy and overall accepted it that way.
TIME is a cruel teacher...lol
Yes... I got older, and with age came the subtle changes. I began to feel things ache more, my feet, my knees, my back....no need to go on. We all can attest to it, but hey...we all get older...right?

I have lymph edema, sleep apnea, high blood pressure,  and I was well on my way to diabetes. BUT I was still okay, fairly functioning and pretty happy with my life in general.

Till the catalyst...the 2005 birth of my niece!!!

I am not saying she is the reason for the surgery but this tiny wee being gave me an unconditional love and a reason to want to live MY life, longer and more fullfilled.

So here I am, Auntie Margaret...hoping to make this one life I have last as long, and as healthy as I can!!
