Surgeon Testimonial

David Fisher, M.D.
I had Dr Fisher during orientation, and i liked the fact that he was very direct. When people first come into my office I can usually tell who's gonna do good and who is not he basically said. He didn't mess around, if you do what we tell you (ie no snacking, no water with meals, excersise) then your gonna do good. He was very funny, and that was nice, but i have a pretty dark sense of humor but oh well. He was great at answering all my questions (and i had alot). I haven't met the other doctors, but I really feel comfortable putting this procedure in his hands. I've worked with many surgeons (veterinary ones at least), and there are some that you know are great surgeons and he is like them. rnrn I guess the bad thing about him is that if your looking for a doctor to sugar coat it that's not him. He's gonna tell you where you need to work, and what you need to do. He'll tell you how to work yes i said WORK to get results even better than you could imagine.

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I love food, the taste the texture, everything about it. I would think all day about what I would eat for diner. I wasn't a real emotional eater, but on occasion I would get overwelmed and then have to much sugar

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~ JudyAnne
