12/22/07: 176 lbs lost-Happy Holidays
on December 21, 2007 2:45 am
Happy Holidays!
I have TRULY enjoyed this holiday season. I have had so many people that have known me for years (family included) not recognize me when they have seen me. I tell you, it is a good feeling to have people do double (and triple) takes when they see you with their mouths open in disbelief.  I don't think that I imagined that the weight would come off like it has and that I would feel this GOOD. I feel like the world is my oyster and that there is no stopping me now. For anyone that is considering the surgery and reading this (especially if you have ALWAYS been overweight), please keep toward your goal of having surgery. Do your research, be healthy, and love yourself too but I can tell you it is so different being on the otherside. I would do it all over again. It is SO much better than I could ever imagine it would be. My only upset is that I have lost my juicy behind in the process but we live in the age of plastic surgery so I am going to have my bodacious booty restored (sometime in the future).
But, I suspect my booty may have disappeared a long time ago when I got so overweight and sat on it all the time. So, I really don't think it has to do with the weight loss but sitting on it for all of these years. But, like I said, I am going to let a surgeon suck some fat from my thighs or arms (my arms have a little loose skin going on) and put it back in my butt where it belongs.
I am down to a size 12 Levi jean and Medium/10 top & coat  depending on how it is made. I use Levi's to gauge where I am in clothes because I know they are cut smaller than stores like Old Navy and Ashley Stewart. So, if I can get these hips in a 12 Levi...then I must really be a size 12.
I am going to end this b/c it is getting very long
Be blessed and love yourself!
