I was very comfortable with Dr. Jayaseelan from the start. I would recommend him greatly. Although I havent been to one of his support group meetings yet, I understand they are very helpful and people get to know him better than when he is trying to work his patients through his busy day. First visit post op

I saw Dr J today. He xray'd my stomach and did not see any leaks! The staples were removed but the gastric tube was left in for another two weeks. The bright spot is that I got to graduate from clear liquids to full liquids.

I am having problems with my left heel. I suspect it is a bone spur. Because of that I cannot walk like I need to. For the last two days I could not walk at all, it hurt so bad to put weight on my foot.  Next stop, seeing my regular doctor for this. 

The good news is that I weighed 269 in the office. 25 pounds down!  I know that is a lot, and I need a slower and yet consistant weightloss, but I was pretty proud let me tell you all!

I will post some pictures as I go along, but I think I want to wait for at least one month out. I feel so positive about my weightloss. That is something I have not felt for a very long time.
