Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I am an emotional eater. When I am stressed, I eat. When I am happy, sad, excited, depressed, etc. -- I eat! I guess I eat to help deal with feelings. I also felt that I was never "good enough" growing up unless I was skinny.

    Deborah *hugs and comfort* I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to post to your thread before you left this morning, I'm sorry you were so very overwrought with emotions but I would expect it's pretty normal when you have so many lives revolving around you. Please take comfort in our prayers that are surrounding you today, our thoughts and hopes for a quick, flawless surgery, a quick, gentle recovery and a smooth transition back to your room and on to the healing side of your journey. There's nothing 'easy' about what you are doing, but I know you are doing it for the right reasons and your faith will carry you through. You are in His hands and may he carry you safely through until you are back with us.     I'm 6 hours from surgery now. I can't sleep tonight. I know there are many that are praying for me and that means more to me than you know!!! I will post as soon as I am able. Thank all of you on this board for your constant support. I feel I have true friends here. God Bless, Debbie -

    Congrats on your surgery date. I am from Van Wert County Ohio not to far from you. I had my surgery done in Kettering Hosptial 3 yrs ago this month.
