My Name is Lori. I am 34yrs old and a mother of 3. I have been fighting with my weight since I had my son in 1994. Before then I was considered over weight at 5'4 and 150-160. But, that is about what I would like to get back down to. I am having RNY Aug 12th 2008!!! I had my scope the other day ( my 34th Bday ) July 9th!! LOL. Alot of ppl have said OMG, I wouldnt want to do that for my bday, but really I did. Because that is one step closer to surgery. You couldnt give me a better gift, unless I had the surgery on my Bday!! Sedelia is 3 hours from me. 182 miles. But, I have researched and researched different doctors and I truely believe this is the BEST dr. for me. I feel so comfortable with him and I am NOT nervous a bit. ( although I do have about a month left ) I have a myspace page where I blog stuff about the surgery. Everything on the page is representing RNY and what I have gone through with it. The link is at the top of the page... I dont have much to say, but I am soooo excited!! I recommend having an Angel for when you have surgery, I HIGHLY recommend DR. HORNBOSTEL and taking the time to research all the Doctors and look at all the before and after pictures and read the postings. Not everyones experience will be the same. But, it is a LIFESTYLE change. Read my blogs and I am here to chat or answer any questions (if i can) . I have met some really great ppl on here, ppl I think could be long time friends. Angy is a true friend and we have alot in common, but the best thing is we have developed a good friendship on here and chat regularly and now it just so happens that we are having the surgery the same day!!
