it's been confirmed. I have a stricture. I was at my Post-Op support group today, and the group decided that my symptoms were not normal. Each day I get worse, and today I'm at the point where I can only take in liquids, yogurt and a touch of mashed potatoes.
They convinced me that I had to call my surgeon right away.  Well...as luck had it, he was giving a lecture in the room right next door.  I slipped in and waited until after his lecture and ambushed him. After answering a few questions, he agreed that I have closed up, and need to be ballooned open. He is going to do it this week and said I should be able to eat this weekend.
Yeah!!!!! It's not that i miss meat that much, but a stricture feels like a golf ball in your throat, and I can't wait until that horrible feeling goes away.
