HI, MY NAME IS EDNA. IM 49 AND ON MY WAY TO A NEW ME... .. I started at 341, and want to be a thin 140. WHAT A JOURNEY IT'S GOING TO BE, BUT I HAVE THE RIGHT TOOLS, AND FAITH AND THATS THE FIRST STEP.

doing well, sill keeeppping it off today I wight 166 lbs.. very close to goal,
Started back at curves its been about a year since I stopped, but Im so happy to be able to start it back up....
Im working full time, so its not going to be easy, but what is..... I know I can do it...
So I have a total of 174 lb's......128 inches....... 113 boby fat...

 SO ITS BEEN A WHILE AND I HAVE BEEN THOUGH ALOT..
HAD MY WIGHT LOST SURGERY ON AUGUST 20, 2007, 1 YEAR AND ALMOST 5 MO. HIGHEST WEIGHT 340, TODAY 168.
ON DECEMBER 30TH I HAD SURGERY THEY FOUND AND INTERNAL HERNIA AND A TWISTED BOWL, DOC SAID IT WAS 180 DEG. TWIST.
SO NOW I HAVE A LARGE SCARE RIGHT DOWN THE CENTER OF MY BELLY . ABOUT 6 1/2". THE SURGEON WAS NOT THE ONE THAT DID MY WEIGHT LOST SURGERY, HE GOT UP AND LEFT TOWN WITH OUT A WORD. THAT WAS NOT GOOD NEWS.
I WAS RE FERD TO DR ERIC SCHLESINGER, WHO PUT ME ON NEXIUM TO HELP THE PAIN IN MY BELLY, TOLD ME THAT IT SOUNDED LIKE AN INTERNAL HERNIA, BUT HE HAD TO GO IN TO BE SURE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SHOW ON CAT-SCAN, BUT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE OPEN SURGERY BECAUSE HE DIDENT KNOW WHAT KIND OF MESS HE MIGHT FIND, SINCE HE DIDENT DO MY ORIGINAL SURGERY.. WOW I DIDENT WANT TO HEAR THAT..
SO ANY WAY TUE. WELL BE 3 WEEKS, MY BELLY IS TENDER UNDERSTANDABLE,
I HAD TO START TAKING NEXIUM AGAIN BECAUSE MY BELLY WOULD GET UPSET, AND BURN AFTER I EAT SOMETHING FOR ABOUT 1/2 HR.
SO NOW I'M NOT TO LIFT ANYTHING OVER 5 LB FOR 6 WEEKS,
THAT MAKES IT IMPOSABLE FOR ME TO WORK SINCE I' M A CASHIER FOR SAMS CLUB.. I'M NOT EVEN SURE I'LL HAVE A JOB BECAUSE I'VE ONLY BEEN WORKING THERE 4 MO, AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T HOLD MY POSITION, SO NOW WHAT....
SO HERE WE ARE IN 2009, I SURE HOPE IT IS A BETTER YEAR, I'M GOING TO DO MY BEST TO BE POSITIVE, EVENT THOUGH I FILL LIKE CRAP, NO ENERGY, AND JUST NOT SURE HOW I FILL ABOUT THE CHOICE I MADE TO HAVE THE WEIGHT LOST SURGERY????? I REALLY HAVE TO KEEP PRAYING FOR STRENGTH AND GUIDANCE.

So today is a great day, Ive been having some pains in my belly for about a week, went to the emergency, what a waist of time after 9 hrs a cat-scan, blood test, they dident know what is the problem... What a surprise... But today I dont have the pain so I'm happy... It would come and go, but sometimes it was so bad it would give me chills.. Who knows, anyway no pain today GREAT.. So I'm still hoping to lose about another 50-60 lbs.. Even though my Mom says I should stop. Hope everyone is having a great day.. hope to get some new pictures up soon... Take Care..

SO its been one year since surgery, and i I wish I was under 200, but NO!!! But I am 205, not bad, but I still have a way to go...
So I hate that I have been snaking, I really need to stop! I dont think I lost anything for about 6 weeks. But I dident exercise and I dident eat right.. SO WHAT DO I EXPECT?
Its up to me I know...
So any way Im working to part time jobs, thats a good thing, Im alittle tired, but its all good.. Ive started drinking liquid life, a vitamin drink, I found at Sams Club, its been almost a week, I think its working...
So my goal is to get back on track.. I hope everyone is doing well, God bless everyone.

so its been a few months since I loged my wonderful secsess, so here I am...
Im going to be ( 50 ) years old, I made it and filling wonderful... My knee is getting stronger everyday, Im working some, still going to Curves about 2-3 times a weeek, but I am walking my dogs about 30 mins a day.
It's going to be 9mo. on the 20th since my surgery and I have lost a total of 119 lbs.. Im at 222.5 as of this morning... I still have a way to go but it really fills like I can do it, thanks to the tool I now have... I need to take some new pictures soon......
