My Story

Hi My Name is Mindy. I Am The Mom To One 4 year old. Have Been Over Weight For About 6 Years Now. It Started In High School I was on birthcontrol pills to regualate my periods but i always forgot to take them because taking them made me sick so i decided to get the depo preva shots and thats where the weigh gain begain. i went up 4 pants size in that one year on the depo. well I took it another year and i wound up wearing a size 20 or 22. pants. and 3x shirts i have came down to size 20 pants. but i still fill miserable on a daily basic and i have a 4 year old and i really want to be there for her and i have a lot of health problems that run in my family my mom has gout and high blood pressure and diabetes and lots of other problems and i dont want to wind up getting all of those things for being over weight so im taking control i have tried so many different diets and diet pills and i lost as much as maybe 11 pounds but never was able to keep it off it kept coming back. so i decided lap band or the gastric bypass is better for me and i do not have insurance but i am looking into finding some and getting the precidure done with in the next 6 months.
