Protein, carbs, calories

Wonder how much protein, carbs and calories we should consume?  Here's what my surgeon has to say:
You should probably be getting anywhere from 1200-1500 calories per day, 60 grams of protein every day, and to be considered low-carb then you need to stay at about 50-60 grams per day.

First and foremost, follow your on surgeons rules, but if you don't have a clue, then these are some suggestions and what my surgeon recommends.

Also, I've found the most amazing website for protein and supplement products that came highly recommended by my surgeon and hospital's bariatric coordinator.  It's called www.mydietshopz.com It's an amazing site and the woman I work with in ordering is a WLS patient herself. Shes' been lots of help to me and I've ordered some wonderful stuff from there.  I've been very pleased and if you want know more, please email me at ellefelts@bellsouth.net .  I've already tried quite a few of their products and haven't found anything that I don't like yet.  They all come individually packaged and easy to pick up and go. Everything mixes with water and so easy to pop in the microwave for an instant meal.  They have protein soups, meals, fruit drinks, cocoa's of every flavor and so much more all very reasonable priced.  No, I do not work for them and I don't even know where their company is out of, but I do know they are very good and wonderful service.  Free shipping with a order and you get free samples of your choice with a order.  Sounds amazing doesn't it?
