My Story

I am currently a 45 year old male with a 49.5 BMI.  I am diabetic and have high blood pressure.  I lurked around on OH a few years back looking at the DS procedure.  My kids were in the peak of their teen years and my business was demanding.  I put off the decision until now, but I can wait no more.  Both sons, Josh & Kameron are off to college and my wife Kelly will begin full time teaching this fall.  I have insureance but can also self pay.  i am looking to have a procedure done as soon as I learn enough about exactly which one and where/who to have it.

My past searching has led me to inquire about a lap procedure with Dr. Rabkin but I am open to any suggestions.  I live in NE Washington on beautiful Lake Roosevelt.  I have led a happy fat life for the first 40 or so years, but all that is changing fast.  I have been obese and unfit all of my life.  I am looking forward to reaching some of the new heights that I have reads others on this site have reached.  It must be great to hike a mountain or ride a bike to work.  We'll see.  EW
