I have never had a doctor I valued as much as I value Dr. Katz! His entire program is what helped me succeed. THIS IS A HARD ROAD. THIS IS NOT AN EASY FIX. But his staff are hand picked to make sure that you are well prepared for what lies ahead, and you will NEVER feel alone. Things happen, food gets stuck, sometimes you cheat, sometimes you fall off the wagon. The SERIOUSLY screen, and he will tell you know if he doesn't think you are a good candidate for long term success. But they never leave a man behind, and they never give up on you. Just move forward. I have known many people that have had procedures through several other area programs, and NONE of them were as well prepared as I was. In fact, several of them call me for advice, because I have information that their doctor hasn't given them. My program not only gave me the information, but went over it with me, made me go to support group meetings, and made me take classes preop to make sure I was prepared for all the post op possibilities. I always knew exactly what was "normal", yet I never felt stupid calling to ask just in case. I have worked in the healthcare field for 18 years and I have never recommended a physician more highly.
