Surgeon Testimonial

Michael Garren
In My opinion ....The moment I met him at orientation, I knew he would treat me well and by the end of the meeting I knew he was the ONE to bring me to the other side!!rnrnYes my opinions of the surgeon and staff has gotten BETTER!!!rnrnThey are like angels and really show the love and compassion. My clinic visits and hospital staff were always pleasantrnrnrnThere is nothing not to like. ( maybe pre-op I had to wait for a return call on a day they were in a meeting)rnPartly my fault for being anxious.rnrnHe gave me a chance to ask any questions at the end of his explainations on surgical risks.rnrnYes there are steps to follow writen instructions and visits to go to.rnrnVery thourough verbally and written matereials along with it.rnrnTOP of the line Excellent.rnSurgical Competence and bedside mannerrn are great he is a natural.rnrnI felt well liked and comfortable with the entire team.rnrnrnThe only thing I would like better is to live closer.rnrnI am only telling of my expirence, no one ELSE!!.

Hello,

My name is Pat Bajwa. Aka Eveningblossm, my Native American name.

I am from California and retired from The University Of California at Berkeley.

My pastimes include enjoying our home in Cuba City Wisconsin, which I share with Lester of 10 years .

We have a Parrot named Griffen that is a bit overweight as well and was lucky enough to lose a bit. He is 3 years old and talks.

Our shipoo dog is named McDreamy. We have 2 cats, Darla(Our Gang) and BeauRhett ( Gone With The Wind) . We have game birds and a beehive.

I love to get on my Moped and ride, weather permitting.

We do craft shows and while it's cold I am knitting a sweater from Big Girl Knits . Looks great for someone my size. (hopefully not for much longer).

My Story

My blood pressue has gone up much higher as well as my weight.
A few years ago my GP suggested wls. Right after that I noticed an ad on tv about the Lap Band.

This Janurary I went into the emergency room thinking I had a heart attack which ended up being a murmer and a thickened valve.

That was my wake up call. I weigh 233 pounds at five foot two and it is 115 pounds over my 118  pound normal weight.

When I went to the seminar and found out more about the Lap Band, I was convinced even more  that it would be idea for a 61 year old with a BMI of 42.6 like me.

It will be great to tie my own shoes and have an eaiser time wiping where I should as well as doing the chores.

The more weight I gain the more Co-morbidities I get. Diabetes is right around the corner as most of my family get it as they become older.
