New things
on March 2, 2012 4:53 am
well today I am 288 lbs down 92 lbs since I started this journey and so flipping happy with the results so far. I must admit I had my doubts even after meeting so many people in person and watching them drop sizes as I waited for my turn on the bench.  This surgery is truly a miracle of a procedure and so thankful for the ability to have been given a chance at a new beginning.  I have not been this low in weight in over 15 years.  I cry at the silly-est things like the shoulder bone and felt it so much I made it sore LOL.

I thought my biggest food issues were stress related but I am currently trudging along even with loss of work, still waiting over a month and half for employment insurance to kick in, car needing repairs and unable to afford them to get the car reinspected and not been able to drive in over a month. Plus both of my kids birthdays are this month one on the 6Th and other on the 17Th,  I have learned to not let the major money issues get to me and frustrate me to stuff my face with junk.

I now have a BMI of 46.4 down from 61.3 drop of 14.9 points at 5 ft 6 in.  I dropped from a tight 30/32 very stretchy jeans to a 22/24 and from 4 XL- 5 XL to a 2 XL -3 XL tops.  I found not only knee caps but shoulder bones too.  and a whole bucket of confidance and pride in myself

3 months post op
on February 22, 2012 4:40 am
I was reminded that I had not updated my profile and I am sorry,  life has been busy with great things happening..

3 months out as of yesterday. I have had NO issues at all and feel wonderful the little NSV are truly amazing. I am now 293 LBS down from the start weight of 380 LBS.. I have found things on my body I forgot I even had like knee caps and wrist bones.... LOL. I am down from a 30/32 tight jeans to a 22/24 jeans and 5 XL top to 3 XL top even my sneakers and socks are loose now. I can walk 2 miles in 30 min without stopping and not needing a puffer.   I have been off my blood pressure meds since 1 week post op. MY only regret is I was not able to do this sooner. Life is good the lbs are coming off slower than some people but the inches are going fast and I am happy with that. I have never felt better and each day I find new and exciting things to be proud of and encourage me to keep moving forward.

Stall finally broke
on December 21, 2011 7:51 am
whew my stall finally broke what a relief.  I am now 1 month out and lost a total of 20 lbs post op.  I am a slow looser I guess but a looser just the same but that darn stall didn't help much either LOL.  I am feeling great and now off all blood pressure meds much to my doctors surprise and amazement.  I have so may people who helped me on this journey and that I am so thankful for and unsure how I could ever repay them or thank them for this kindness.  I am truly blessed.  I have never felt such a calm in my hectic life, but right after surgery I felt like a large weight was lifted from me and I can conquer anything.  Strange but beautiful feeling.  God bless and hope everyone have a Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays and a Joyous Happy New Year
