Yep my Bp meds I was avoiding taking because of the disgusting bitter taste and my BP was high and my Dr. said nope crush till atleast 6 weeks. So I cut it in 4 pieces and swallowed. That was so much better. Tue. I should get my new script for capsules, we'll see how those work. I'm so glad to be on this journey to a healthier me. I want the energy to enjoy life and get out there and well seize the day because I have wasted so much time being idle and missing so many things because of my weight. I love OH and I couldn't imagine this journey without the help and support of all you guys/gals.

so I'm guessing it's about time I finally have my surgery. Actually I think it's great. I've done alot of reading and researching and the funny thing is that in the last 9 months I've done more surgery swapping than in the last 7 years lol.
I hope this to be my biggest regret through all this that I didn't do it sooner. Anywho so when I started this process many many manyyyyyyyyyy years ago lol I wanted lapband. Through the years it's been lapband lapband lapband. I went to see my surgeon last year and he crushed my dreams of lapband. He basically told me that you will fail with landband and I will bet that you regret it yada yada yada. I was totally crushed and had to come to terms with getting RNY. I had a surgery date set for Mar. 8, 2011 when my Dr. office called the end of Feb. to tell me that my insurance was been canceled at end of Feb and it wouldn't be covered
I went through all the tests everything and then nothing, I was so upset. As I look back now it was the best blessing I could of ever received. I got my insurance back and got the ball rolling again. When I went back in to see my surgeon he said oh by the way we offer VSG now and this might be a good fit for you, it falls between the lapband and the RNY. So I came home jumped on OH and the VSG board and have been reading reading reading ever since. It feels right and I am now so excited to start this journey and find the skinny healthy outgoing me hiding inside this fat suit
I am so thankful that my eyes have been opened to VSG. If all goes good with some of my repeat tests and oh the upper GI I should be having surgery Aug. 22, 2011. Can't wait to be on the losers bench. It's been a long road to get here and I CAN'T WAIT TO FINALLY START MY JOURNEY.
