Phillip Hornbostel, M.D.
Wow is the word for Dr.Hornbostel he is so kind and understanding and answers all your questions and takes his time with you! You what he tells you and you will be succesful in your wls. His staff is nice especially Marggie. There is always risk in surgery and a chance of death but any doctor or hospitol will tell you that. As for rating Dr.Hornbostel and his staff would be a 9 because no is perfect! Both bedside and surgical competence were great .

Howdy to all  my path started about 21 years ago and its been getting bigger as i went along and most of you know what i'm talken about.   I'm so miserable at the weight of 261 and i really need help so my doctor Kelly Hayday is helping me thru all this every step of the way .We got everything together and submitted it to the surgeon Dr.Phillip Hornbostel of Sedalia Missouri and now we are getting testing done to see if we can go ahead and set up the surgery.I will know about the date by the end of july 2008 so every one cross your fingers for me i will let you know soon what happens !

I weigh 155 lbs now and i'm feelin so great ! My one year mark will be in july.

It's 11-18-08 And i feel great i have lost 75 pounds since my surgery on july 24 of 2008 I have had no major problems so far... If your thinking about having this surgery please do it will change your whole life !

It's 10-12-08 and i have lost 60 pounds since surgery and i'm doing great ! I have not had any major problems yet still have a few days thats i dont have any energy but my doc gave me some     b-12 vitiams and its helping alot..... My advice to those who are gonna have the surgery jump in and do it !!!!!!!!!!! It will be the best thing you do for your self in your whole life and make sure you follow the doctors order every peice of it and you will do fine ! GOOD LUCK !

Time goes by fast !

Today is September 4 2008 and i have so far lost 40 pounds since my gastric bypass . This is what i call results and i havent had much problem. One time i didnt chew my food good enough and felt like i was gonna throw up i went got some papaya pills and chew two up and in with minutes that was all gone thank goodness for those papaya pills !

My Story

Howdy to all i'm a 38 year old female and as you can see i'm very much over weight just like all you kind people on here . I to need help and i have been working on this since 2003 i'm almost there on march the 19  2008 i have my first appointment with the surgeon . I'm so happy to come this far! i have been battling fat for about 21 years and all those diets made me dizzy lol. Well all that is going to change as many as you all know on here ,but i have the will to get this done and taken care of and that is going to be soon so you all put on your smiles on for me and help me thru this...
