Surgeon Testimonial

Garth Davis M.D.
Dr. Davis was not what I had expected after watching 'Big Medicine'. He was professional, no nonsense and confident. He asked if I had any questions and the question that I did have was more of a concern or worry. He answered my question and told me not to worry. With the confidence that he exhibited that worry was alleviated at that moment. What more could a person ask for? He is serious about follow up care and support meetings and rightfully so.

The office staff seemed helpful, nice and patient.

12/31/07 happy new year
on December 31, 2007 12:00 am
It was a uneventful new years as Early had to work......I cooked our wealth and progress (cabbage, blackeyed peas with rice and a ham..........yum).  We ate dinner and played Clue on DVD.........absolutely hilarious.........OMG.
There were fireworks EVERYWHERE.  Hard to sleep, Emily and I stayed up to ring in the New Year and log in the new webkinz......yea
Earlier in the day Emily's doctor's office called to say that her WBC count was now WNL at 5.5 even with the toe infection.....it was 4.1, refrence is 4.5-13.5.....hhumm!  I need to make an appt to see her pedi, I and Early feel as though she is very pale with swollen gums and want to make sure that the nurse gives the results to the MD.  I would like to know what the differential was....will see
I feel that atleast she is in the right place as her pedi is a hematologist........note to self, a study done in houston at ut stated that there is a link to low WBC and ritalin use.

Today is Early's last of 7 days off.......we decided to take it easy.  I cooked and cleaned, he bought groceries...........its amazing how hopeful we are about the new year.  We have made our combined plans and individual plans for the new year.  We used to make our plans and goals for the future all the time but somewhere life happened and it stopped.  But the one thing I always remembered is how good it felt to make a plan and go forth.  When the goal was acheived we felt unstoppable.  We are there......again.
He is doing much better with the prednisone and antibiotics, hopefully that continues.
I on the other hand have gained back every ounce that I losted at weight management.  Remarkably it is not bothering me, I'm not happy about it but it is what happens when I loss weight.........I gain it back.
