Surgeon Testimonial

Garth Davis M.D.
Dr. Davis was not what I had expected after watching 'Big Medicine'. He was professional, no nonsense and confident. He asked if I had any questions and the question that I did have was more of a concern or worry. He answered my question and told me not to worry. With the confidence that he exhibited that worry was alleviated at that moment. What more could a person ask for? He is serious about follow up care and support meetings and rightfully so.

The office staff seemed helpful, nice and patient.

I weighed with my trainer today and my weight was 236 lbs.  That is down 3 lbs in 6 days.

Very discouraging since I am wroking my a** off and many people do this and loose lots more weight and not even try. HUH!!!

WOW, I went to the gym 4 days last week and have already went 2 times this week and its only 7:30a Monday morning.  I went Sunday and at 5a today.  Feels great.  What a hurdle I have overcome there.  Hopefully I can keep it up.

1 month
on April 11, 2008 6:17 pm
It has been 1 month since surgery and 6 weeks since start of liquid diet and I am down 30lbs.  I'm thrilled but had anticipated a larger loss, however I'll take what I can get.

Every day I realize more and more of how much of a mental battle this is............not just physical.  WOW

Will post the pics from today soon.

loss

OK.  My weight is changing, just not NEARLY as fast as I had hoped it would.  I have lost somewhere in the neighborhood of 25-30lbs since the strart of the liquid diet.
