I'm Kevin, married, father of five.  I've been overweight all of my life, I've lost and gained, but have not been able to maintain my weight.  I have type II diabetes, high cholesterol, and I am borderline hypertensive.  This surgery is "do or die" for me - without it, I will be lucky to make it another 15 years (according to my endocrinologist).  I want to be here (and healthy) for my family.

Surgery

I had Lap RNY on March 11, 2008.  The surgery was a success and I have had no complications.  I've dropped from a size 48-50" waist pants to a 42".  Still dropping weight everyday (finding bones I didn't know I had).  See my updated picture!

Surgery Date

My surgery date has been tentatively set for March 11th pending insurance approval.  I'm scared.
