1st post-op update

Hello OH sisters and brothers! Im officially 4 days post-op and i feel like i been hit by a bus! My incisions are doing pretty well at the time being! I'm brused and battered and my stomach is always feeling tight! I have some upper back pain I HATE HATE HATE jello, broth, and popcicles! Everything is sweet and I'm not feeling like eating sweets right now. I'm not saying i want to dive right into a full blown meal but i want to eat some soup and pudding, eggs, veggies..........something i can chew! Right after surgery was a blur and the day after was the worse! I had some chest congestion or a upper respiratory infection so I was on antiabotics and breathing treatments every 4 hours! Um, i was in the hospital from 9/11-9/14. Yesterday was my first day home and it was rough to say the least. Dr. Bolar sent me home with a nausia medicine (liquid) and pain medicine (liquid). I took my 1st shower the day I got home and it as Heaven!

I do get hungry, expecially when dinner is being prepaired but i just sip a lil broth and tell my mind that im not hungry!Sometimes I feel like I made a bad decsion because my tummy is in so much pain, but i fall back on the thought that in 2 weeks I'll probably feel brand new! My God has blessed me with this gift and I INTEND on making him proud of me. Well imma little tired so I'm going to rest now!
