Anthony Petrick, M.D.
I had my surgery at Geisenger Medical Center in Danville, PA with Dr. Petrick. I was impressed with him at first. However, he never saw me before surgery and never came out to talk to my family after surgery. I never saw him after surgery either. I think that is something that should be done. The office staff are generally nice to all the patience that I have seen.

Since my surgery I have been back to see Dr. Petrick a couple of times and he has been very nice and has taken time to answer all my questions that I have.

Describe your behavioral and emotional battle with weight control before learning about bariatric surgery.
I would try everything on the market. I treid diet pills to laxatives. I did not like myself. I was shy around groups of people and I never went out just to have fun. I think I only wore a bathingsuit three times in 10 years. I did not like how I looked or all the fat that was all over. I was also a very angry person, which I think stemmed from being alone.
