Surgeon Testimonial

George Ferzli
Dr. Ferzli has a lovely, gentle, mannerism when you first meet him. He is a very caring physican who wants the best for his patients. His office staff is also very caring and kind. I can't say that there is anything I don't like about Dr. Ferzli. For the few times that I have met him, he took the time to answer ALL my questions. The only thing is that when I was signing the final consent form Dr. Ferzli made it clear all of the consequences that could happen during and after the surgery which got me quite nervous. However, he reassured me and told me that he had to make me aware of \"what could happen\" but the likelihood was very slim if none at all. If I had to rate Dr. Ferzli I would give him a 10 out of 10. The surgery went well and thank goodness I have had no complications so far. I think that Dr. Ferzli's surgical competence and bedside manner are both superior. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery or any type of surgery.

Well I went grocery shopping today and bought some food for my "last meals" that I'll be able to eat for awhile. I'm psyched now and can't wait till this is over. I actually wish it were next summer and this whole year were behind me. I don't want to rush time but I'm looking forward to the end results. I took off my mask this morning from my c-pap machine and thought "I can't wait till I no longer need this" I hope I'm one of the 80% that loses their sleep apnea. I went into TJ Max looking for the davinci syrup and I saw a cute blouse that I was thinking about buying and putting away but it's an XL and right now I wear 3XL and at my thinnest I was a L so I didn't buy it. But I thought, I can't wait to go clothing shopping in a NORMAL clothing store instead of THE AVENUE or LANE BRYANT.  I'm sure it will happen soon enough.

Well I can't believe surgery is less than 2 weeks away. I joined a gym this past Friday and went three days in a row. I also started my low caloried diet that I have to do before surgery. The dr. doesn't want me gaining any weight or he won't do the surgery. (This is he rule for everyone, not just me). So I'm trying to take in no more than 1200 calories a day. Of course I weigh myself every morning and I saw that the scale is going down due to the eating or should I say (not eating of junk food) and exercise. So once again I thought..... do I really need to do this?  Can't I do it on my own and I know that I have good intentions but they won't last. So I guess the answer is yes. I have to do this for myself. Meanwhile my husband keeps meeting people who know my surgeon and he keeps hearing good things so he's very impressed and no longer nervous about me doing this.
