Surgeon Testimonial

John Rabkin, M.D.
I can only report positive things about Dr. Rabkin, his staff and affiliated hospital.
The process, with his office, towards DS was educational, medically thorough, and nurturing. I felt fully informed in my decision to commit to the DS after attending the seminar and talking to the staff and watching their videos. I was asked to do some presurgery medical tests to insure that I could easily tolerate the procedure. The staff is warm and reassuring. The follow up is terrific, and the month support group meetings invaluable. I give him a 10 out of 10 on all points.

Gail, sorry to hear about the nausea. Hang in there, it will go away eventually. Took about a month for mine to go away, but it does. Huge hugs to you!!!!!

Hi Gail, I can't wait to see you at the next Pac Lap meeting. I'm hoping to still recognize you. Best of luck on your speedy recovery. I'm not good on pain meds either so I understand. Take care. Cathy

Still waiting for a decision
posted on 6/5/09 9:43 am
It is June 5th and I just received a letter form the Dept. of Managed Health Center. They say they will take my case and let me know in 30 days if they are going to overturn my insurance company decision.  While I feel confidant, I still hate the waiting game after all these years. I hope to really be celebrating the fourth of July this year.
