I fought excess weight after a severe back injury. Went from working FT to a hospital bed. Boy does the weight pile on when your life stops. After years of not being able to lose the weight I discovered the duodenal switch. What a blessing it was to my life. I am so blessed to not of had any major post-op problems. Have had to adjust my vitamins a few times. I have had major regain. BUT I have learned all patients who had my original surgeon (Dr Clark Warden) had major regain or did not reach goal. I am in the process of getting a revision to reach a healthy weight. I plan to do this with Dr John Maguire. I am very impressed with his knowledge and skills and long term results of his patients.
