Surgeon Testimonial

Harold L. Kent M.D., F.A.C.S
When I initially saw him I was very impressed by his honesty and professionalism. As time went on I realized he genuinely cared for his patients and took pride in his work. The staff in the office were extremely friendly and supportive. I have no complaints about Dr. Kent to this day. If I have a question I can call him and he will speak to me directly that is very important in a surgeon. I think that his future patients need to know that he is honest about what you need to do to get your weight under control. He really pushes exercise and I love that. Dr. Kent was very supportive in aftercare. He personally called me a few times after surgery to check on me and see if I had any questions. I was very pleased. Dr. Kent definitely believes in follow up and really works around your schedule. Dr. Kent was very honest and upfront about the risks of surgery and he gave me other options so I did not feel pressured into surgery. Overall I would definitely recommend Dr. Kent to anyone. I felt like the whole experience was wonderful and I have no regrets. I have a great surgeon.

On the Road Again!
on April 27, 2007 12:24 pm
Well I went to the doctor on Monday and after my horrible weekend I had only gained one pound.  THat was definitely not enough to derail my success.  Dr. Kent gave me a fill and I was very relieved.  Since I relapsed on the carbs it is hard to get that craving away now  BUT I got back in the gym and I am still training for the 5k.  I am down 42 pounds at this point and I have lost 45 inches.  I am very excited and I am glad to be on the road again!  Thanks to everyone for the support.

Jumping Back on the Wagon is Tough

I have done really well with my surgery.  I gained a little this week but I have to realize that there were circumstances beyond my control and I simply handled them with food.    NOT ANYMORE!  I have to get back out there and do what brought me this far.  No more beating myself up.  So far I am down almost 40 pounds.  I need to remember that!  I will keep you posted.
