When I first met Dr. Capella I thought he was younger than he really is. He is a very passionate man who is an expert at his craft. His office staff is very supportive and knowledgable and I felt very comfortable being in the office. There is nothing I didnt like about Dr. Capella. You should know that Dr. Capella is a great Dr. and you will have the best experience he has over 22 yrs. experience. He puts a great deal of emphasis on aftercare. He also provides an aftercar package. There was a seminar prior to the consult that detailed the pros and cons of WLS. Dr. Capella is an angel and he is a great surgeon.

  • Cats - I had a lot of cats in the past but none at the moment.
  • Motorcycles - I had a motorcycle accident back in 2001. Still love to ride!

Wow how is everyone doing? Good I hope as for myself I am maintaining. It has been way to long since the last time I visited this site.  It has been 5.5 yrs since my surgery and my BMI is 28.0 and I feel great. I thank God because I know my continued success is a result of the strength and guidance he provides for me.

Today is 8/9/2007! Today is the first day of the rest...

Every day is a new day and every day is the first day of the rest of your life.  What does this mean exactly.  With each new day brings new challenges.  We as a people must start learning to live each day to the max.  There is so much potential and so many things that can happen in life to change your outlook completely.  The day I agreed to have WLS was the day I started each day to its full potential.  Now that I have lost well over 100 lbs and I feel and look great I can enjoy life even more.  I am not faced with those obesity related illness and I am more acceptable in society.  

It was not an easy journey but I made the best of each situation I was in.  Through out it all I learned discipline and hardwork and its meaning and level of importance.  I can honestly say for once in my life I feel like I am accomplishing all the things that were once just a figment of my imagination. 

May peace be unto you and may my words touch someone and help someone understand that they to can acheive anything they want through dedication and determination.
