I have only met Dr. Melvin once. He was easy to talk to and seemed to be a caring person. I have spoken to a local doctor I know about Dr. Melvin. He spoke highly of him, not just as a good person, but a talented surgeon. So, I feel better about my choice. I will say more later when I have more information. :)

  • Cats - I have three, Charlie, Jesse, and Blackie. Charlie is my little old man.

My Story

     My story begins like a lot of folks.  I come from shall we say "solid stock".  Many people in my family have weight problems and our solution is to eat.  It has taken me a long time to get to where I am today, but I am tired of it.  I want to be healthy and enjoy myself.  I want to be one of those grandmas that do everything with their grandkids one day.  I want to be able to enjoy going to the zoo without my feet hurting or labored breathing.  I want my energy back and I don't want diabetes or any other chronic illness headed my way.  I am at a crossroads in my jouney and I am choosing life in a healthy body.
