Okay was told by the surgeon's office that they should have his call schedule for Sept in July. So, I got 18 days til July (gonna give them thought until after the holiday July 4th. Then I am gonna start calling again unless they call me first.. So, So So excited.. :)

So, went to my PCP for a check up yesterday. He has been monitoring my Blood pressure for some time. Previously I was on BP meds but they took me off... well, I am back on BP meds again. He said he is doing it for my kidney's since I am a diabetic and the blood pressure keeps creeping up. He said it will protect my kidneys and won't probably need it after surgery but until then he wants to do all he can to help my body be stressed free..

I still don't have my surgery date.. but am waiting on the doctor's "call schedule" to be made to make my surgery date. I feel the people at my surgeon's office are over me..lol... They are tired of hearing from me but I have been fighting for this surgery since 2011. Now that I have my approval it feels like they are ignoring my call/voicemails with my additional questions. Since I have to give my manager so much notice and train someone for my job for while I am gone and complete and submit FMLA paperwork in a timely fashion (and they work for the same damn company I do) they would understand and give me at least some estimate of when I can expect a call. Tell me something.. like the call schedule usually don't come out until 2 months before or like our physicians (the ones I work for) 35 days in advance. Something.. just frustrated... excited about my new life to come and just want to feel secure in knowing it will come.. if that makes any sense.. grrrrrr

Optima finally approved me for surgery.. now waiting on my date... :) all I could say was OMG.. OMG ..OMG.. when the lady called to tell me I was approved.

Okay.. the waiting game begins.... I have been advised that my "file" is now complete and is going to be forwarded to Optima. Lord, please please let my approval go through this time. I have done did everything they have asked of me and then some.. Pray for me people..
