THE BASICS - overweight  all my life, thought about wls  for many yrs , finally got the courage  and started to Dr shop! Found a Dr  who only did open procedures - Not Interested ( had a major hysterectomy and never wanted to be "opened up again " .  Still Dr shopped  awhile . Found Dr Blackstone in Scottsdale . Had Lap RNY July 06- awesome. Recovery  was so much better, Lost 135 lbs - felt great !!  But Stopped loosing after just 13 months - WTF my journey cant be over ...... Can it ?

So for the last 9 months my weight  went up about 16 lbs , not happy  not loosing, started to think about a revision .. I still have more than 100 lbs to loose . 

Dr shopping was not an option this time! There are a couple Dr in the area that do revision , My original Dr  does not !!!   plus  she does not take my ins - Bummer !! 

Funny I came full circle and had my revision with Dr Schlesinger - the one I met years ago. He does revisions - Best Dr in area for them - My opinion I know !!! But others feel the same way ! 

I got a quick date , had an open procedure, healing great - was in hospital 1 day .. Home the next ,  up and walking, first trip out of house was 4 days . Started driving at 1 week. 

Had my post -op appt at 9 days , lost 14 lbs - feel AWESOME!!!
