~*~I SAID A PRAYER FOR YOU TODAY~*~ I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard- I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind, I asked that He'd be near you At the start of each new day, To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way. I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small, But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all ~*~Hugs~*~

Wow!!! What can I say.... As I read your profile I felt your pain. If you read my profile you will find that I developed and ulcer and my pouch closed on me too just 3 weeks post-op. But so far it has only been once. I know how you felt with the dry heaving. It was a bad feeling but as long as I spit while I had those attacks and just not fight it it was over quicker. After that I would be fine, tired but feeling better then before... just waited for the next attack. But I am glad that you are seeing much brighter days. It is no fun loosing weight if you are miserable. The complements only pissed me off more because I wanted to feel human and normal again, and not just dropping off pounds. I am so glad I feel great these days and I hope you are loving it! Keep up the great success! Cheers, Stephanie http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=L1054642533

Ginger, I just read your post and I just wanted to let you know that I completely sympathize with you. I haven't had the surgery yet, but please don't get discouraged.. I am certain that you will get to feeling better soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Hey Ginger, What you are going through is really normal. A lot of people have a few weeks or even a month or two of neasuea. Keep in mind, your new pouch is still swollen from surgery, and also irritated if you have been vomiting. This all makes for a very unhappy pouch! Be patient, eat only very liquid or mushy foods ( I could eat about a quarter of a container of Yoplait Light yogurt at one time, and did so for quite awhile) and things will slowly get better. At this point, don't worry so much about what you eat as what you drink. If you can only eat a teaspoon of food, do it a few times a day. But honestly, it WILL get better, I Promise! By the way, how are your grandma and dad doing? Tami (a former Delawarian)
