    I see that we are having the surgery at the same time. I wish you all of the best. We have come to far to let anything or anyone hold us up from getting to be on the loosers bench. See ya there !!!!!

Submitting to Insurance for approval!!

Hello guys!!!  I hope you are all doing well. As you know, I had a visit with my surgeon on Thursday. I am now down 72 lbs and that makes me a very happy camper!! Needless to say, the Dr. was pretty happy himself!!  We discussed several different surgery options such as whether to do my surgery laproscopic or open and he also mentioned doing the vertical sleeve instead of roux-en-Y.  I have not researched the Vertical sleeve, but I trust him COMPLETELY and will try to read up a little more on it.  They said that it could take up to a month to hear something because he has to adjust my letter to include everything. He wants all basis covered because of my size and I understand that.  I am just praying really hard that things work out for me.  I am ready for a change in my life and I am trying so hard to do anything and everything to make that happen.  I just want to live!!!  Thanks for listening!  Until next time......Have a great week!!

Welcome to Monday!!

Hello guys!  I hope your Monday is off to a great start!  I haven't posted in a few days because things have just been busy!  I have been working on the weight loss as usual and have now lost 70 lbs!! I almost cried when I stepped on the scale!  It was such a great feeling.  I go to the Dr. on Thursday and hopefully he will say that he will do the surgery and submit my paperwork to the insurance.  Everyone just say a prayer!  Have a great week....until next time!

Time Flies!!

Hello all......it's been a few weeks since I last posted. Time flies when you're having fun, lol.....Well, just an update on what's been going on in my life.  I went for my psychological evaluation on Feb. 2nd and my nutritionist visit on Feb 5th.  Things went great!! I loved Dr. Smith (psych. Dr.) and Amber(nutritionist).....They are INCREDIBLE!  Dr. Smith just asked lots of general information kind of "getting to know you" questions.  He was really nice and made me feel VERY comfortable and able to discuss my weight issues.  I went to see Amber yesterday and that visit went really well.  She was glad to see that I have been trying to lose on my own and was very proud of the fact that I have now lost 61 lbs. since October!  It is a struggle everyday, but my whole mind set is working towards getting the surgery!  I go see Dr. Fuzz on the 21st, so just keep your fingers crossed and pray for me!!
