straight and to the point. I like him alot.rnHe has no need to sugar coat things, just to the point.rnrnDr Averbach found a hernia that was repaired while he did my lapband surgery. The day after I was scared from the pain, I paged him and explained my issues. He talked me through them and told me what I needed to do. The next day to called me to check up on me and to make sure I was ok. THAT WAS IMPRESSIVE!!!!!!rnrnMost doctors will tell you what to do and if it dont work go to the hopsital and never call you back to check up.. He went out of his way to make sure I am ok. KUDOS!!!!

    just wanted to share...i had my lapband surg. 1/7/09 it went well. if i may make a suggestion; the more i got up and walked around ...the recovery went quicker. sometimes u must push beyond the pain. bring chapstick with you...my lips were always dry. :)
