My name is Kimberly, I had RNY Surgery on March 12, 2010.   I have been struggling with my weight for over 25 years and I have finally decided to do something about it!   I have tried dieting over the years bizarre diets like the beet, tuna, hot dog diet that you eat for 4 days then eat normally for 3, the grapefruit diet, etc.  Been to Weight Watchers more times than I can remember, usually did well for the first couple of weeks then fell right back into my old habits.  Always had an excuse for exercising, this hurt, that hurt, it's too hot, it's too cold, it's raining, it's snowing, etc.  

I decided to become an OH Support Group Leader because through my experience I have really only had one person for support in my life, my best friend who had RNY on February 11, 2009.  She has been an unbelievable support to me but we have both gone through everything without knowing what to do or where to go for support, guidance, etc.  The information I have been able to find on this website is absolutely wonderful but it is also nice to be able to contact people directly and form a bond with them.
