Dietician Appt.

Well, I met with Deb, my dietician yesterday.  I have to meet with her again in 3 months and I need to lose 30 pounds prior to surgery.  So, that's what I will be working on!

Social Worker Appt.

Met with the social worker...Jana.  She was a hoot!  So funny and gave it to me straight from the hip.  I could have spent the entire day with her.  She is such an asset to the Bariatric Center!

Endoscopy

Had an endoscopy on June 17th.  Dr. Cobean said that everything looked normal with my previous VBG.  My next appt. is with the social worker on July 8th and then I have to meet with the dietician.

Good News!

Yippee...got a call from Dr. Cobean's office saying that they had a cancellation and that I could move my surgeon consult appt. from June 23rd to May 26th!

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a 43 y.o. wife, mother, and teacher!  I had a VBG in 2003 and lost 133 pounds and ended up gaining a lot of it back.  I currently have high blood pressure, sleep apnea, TMJ, plantar facilitis, and  type 2 Diabetes.  I am hoping to have revision surgery and I currently have an appt. with Dr. Cobean on June 23rd.  That date seems so far away, but it's definitely worth the wait!
